Head Coach

Coach Jordon enters his thirty-sixth year coaching football at Pleasantville High School. He has coached football at all levels. He enjoys teaching the mechanics and skills of the game to the modified players the most. Coach Jordon also had coached baseball at PHS for 30 years, 25 years as the head varsity coach, his 324 victories are amongst the top at PHS. Coach Jordon and Coach Singletary were standout players for the Panther’s, finishing their careers with a perfect 10-0 record in 1981. This year will be his third year leading the boy’s basketball team. Coach Jordon and his wife, Debbie, live in Pleasantville with two of their kids Matt and Katie and their three grandchildren. His son Tom, former Panther and JV coach, lives on Long Island.

Assistant Coach


Coach Singletary is entering his 6th season as Modified assistant coach. He is a 1982 graduate of Pleasantville and an award-winning tackle on the 1981 10-0 Panthers playing next to Coach Bob Jordon as the right side of the offensive line. Coach Singletary went on to play 4 years at Ohio Wesleyan University where he received a BA in Broadcast Journalism.  Coach has 30 years of coaching experience with a 10 year stop at Ossining High School.  He is also the assistant coach of the Pleasantville Boys Varsity  Basketball team.
